Ritu Agrawal is the chief investment adviser of The Money Ladder Inc. She oversees financial research and client services at the firm. Her focus is on gaining an in-depth understanding  of our clients' financial goals, building a comprehensive financial plan and providing outstanding client service in executing the plan.

Prior to this, Ritu worked for four years with JPMorgan Chase in New York, 1.5 years in the Investment Bank on the sell-side and 2.5 years in the buy-side Asset Management division. As an Investment Analyst, she helped manage institutional portfolios of over 1 billion dollars.

While working at JPMorgan, she developed a deep interest in investment management and its impact on personal finances. As a young professional, she noticed the limited avenues of fee-based, comprehensive investment and financial management advice available to medium net worth individuals. At the same time, she saw a steady demand amongst her peer group for financial planning and investment advice. She watched this need become more acute after the financial crisis of 2008. In mid-2009 she resigned from her job to work with The Money Ladder and pursue her passion for helping people meet their financial goals.

Ritu is a CFA candidate. She holds a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Information Technology with a minor in Economics from the Rochester Institute of Technology. She holds the Series 65 certification.

ADVISORY BOARD

Ashwin Agrawal is an advisor to the firm. Ashwin worked at JPMorgan Investment Bank in their technology and sell-side research divisions, for four years, during which time he developed a deep understanding of the strategic and operational challenges facing financial services companies. Ashwin holds an MBA from Yale University.

Mayank Agrawal is an advisor to the Money Ladder LLC. Mayank is a management consultant at a leading international strategy consulting firm based in Boston. He has worked across a range of industries including Financial Services, Healthcare, Aviation, Private Equity, Media, Semiconductors, IT and Social sector. He holds a B.S. in Microelectronics Engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology and M.S. in Engineering Management from Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College.
